| Report: Knicks would trade anyone but Amar’e for Paul | 07.23.10 at 6:56 am ET |
With reports that Chris Paul is asking out of New Orleans and has the Knicks on his short list of preferred destinations, the New York Post reports that the Knicks would do just about anything to accommodate the standout point guard.
According to the report, the Knicks would make any player available, with the exception of new forward Amar’e Stoudemire.
Paul is expected to meet with Hornets executives, including new general manager Dell Demps, on Monday. The team previously has stated it has no interest in trading Paul, who can become a free agent in 2012.
