According to a report in The Bergen Record, the Nets have a deal in place to acquire Carmelo Anthony from the Nuggets, assuming Anthony agrees to sign a three-year, $65 million contract extension.
in addition to Anthony, the Nets would get Chauncey Billups, Sheldon Williams, Melvin Ely and Renaldo Balkman. The Nuggets would acquire Devin Harris, Derrick Favors, Troy Murphy, Ben Uzoh and four first-round draft picks.
The Nets reportedly will meet with Anthony in Los Angeles over All-Star Weekend to discuss the deal.
