Former Raiders quarterback JaMarcus Russell is facing foreclosure on his $2.4 million mansion, TMZ.com reports. According to documents obtained by the site, foreclosure proceedings have already begun after Russell allegedly failed to pay nearly $200,000 in mortgage payments.
Oakland drafted Russell first overall in 2007, and he is widely considered one of the biggest busts in NFL history. He went 7-18 in 25 starts with 18 touchdowns and 23 interceptions before being released last offseason. No one signed him last season and he’s still a free agent.
