After leaving Sunday’s game against the Royals after a collision with Wilson Betemit, Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols will be out 4-6 weeks with a small fracture in his left wrist.
After a slow start to the season, Pujols has picked it up of late, batting .317 with eight home runs in his past 17 games.
Pujols most likely will miss next month’s All-Star Game.
