The Blazers aren’t ready to give up on Greg Oden just yet. According to Marc Spears of Yahoo, the team offered its former first overall pick a one-year contract worth $8.8 million.
Oden has yet to accept or decline the deal, but the Blazers now have the right to match any offer made by another interested team.
The former Ohio State standout has played 82 total games in his four-year, injury-plagued career.
