According to the Houston Chronicle, Houston will host the 2013 NBA All-Star Game and weekend-long festivities for the third time. The game is set to be played on Feb. 13.
“It’s a done deal,” a person familiar with the bidding process told the paper. “We’re just waiting for the NBA to make the announcement.”
Houston hosted the All-Star Game in 2006, when a 21-year-old LeBron James scored 29 points and became the youngest player ever to win the MVP award. In 1989 the Astrodome played host to the game.
