Boy with Matt Bonner haircut gets tickets to Spurs game

Patrick Gonzalez, the 12-year-old student suspended from Woodlake Hills Middle School in San Antonio for having an image of Matt Bonner shaved into his hair, received tickets from the Spurs for their Game 2 matchup Thursday night against — who else — the Clippers.

Bonner, who is Gonzalez’s favorite player and a fellow redhead, encouraged the Texas middle schooler to “keep supporting us redheads in the NBA.” Gonzalez returned to school Thursday after reluctantly fully shaving his head. Bonner and the Spurs, meanwhile, cruised passed the Clippers for a 2-0 series lead.
