Ozzie Guillen may be out of a job in Miami. ESPN’s Buster Olney tweeted that the Marlins are actively looking for a replacement.
Guillen just finished his first season with the Marlins at 69-93, the exact same record that got Red Sox manager Bobby Valentine fired on Thursday.
Guillen, known for his outspoken manner, told reporters he fully expects to be the Marlins manager when the 2013 season begins.
“I will be the manager here. I expect to be the manager here. I want to be the manager here,” Guillen said. “Am I going to be? I don’t make that decision.”
The Palm Beach Post credits sources inside the Marlins organization that indicate Guillen’s chances of returning as manager are not good.

I tend to think that Ozzie’s big mouth, along with his managerial recrod, helped keep him in Miami. Now that people in the organization got a glimpse of the Foot in Mouth Disease Guillen suffers from, I wonder what will happen the next time Guillen says something controversial? It’s not a matter of if, but when that happens.
