Following the Eagles’ 31-6 loss to the Redskins, reports have surfaced that quarterback Michael Vick might be back to his starting position as early as next Monday’s game against the Panthers.
ProFootballTalk.com reports that a source said the Eagles overstated Vick’s concussion, listing it as “significant” in case backup QB Nick Foles did well against the Redskins on Sunday.
“Though Vick’s concussion definitely was bad enough to keep him from playing on Sunday, a source with knowledge of the situation says Vick could be ready to play next week,” the report read.
Next week, the 3-7 Eagles take on the 2-8 Panthers.
