Report: Ben Roethlisberger restructures Steelers contract

Days after Tom Brady worked out a new contract with the Patriots that frees up cap room for the team, Ben Roethlisberger tweaked his deal with the Steelers, according to NFL.com’s Albert Breer [2].
The Steelers are expected to save about $6 million with the new pact, which converts salary into bonus money. Unlike Brady, Roethlisberger did not add years or money to his deal.
Roethlisberger was slated to carry a salary-cap figure of $19.595 million in 2013.
