Jack McInerney scored in the 76th minute to give the Union a 1-0 victory over the Revolution in Major League Soccer action Saturday in chilly Philadelphia.

The Revolution, who opened the season with a 1-0 victory at Chicago last Saturday, have never beaten the Union in eight games all-time (0-5-3).

Revs starting goalie Matt Reis sat out Saturday’s game with a groin injury and was replaced by Bobby Shuttleworth.

New England plays its first home game next Saturday night vs. Sporting Kansas City.
